Summer in Novi Sad is beautiful, colourful intertwined with different cultural and entertaining activities, most of all festivals. Apart from the famous EXIT festival, there are also others, no less interesting. 3 June – 31 August
Serbian Cappadocia on Krčedin river island.

Hot air balloon season on Krčedin river island is ideal for all who always fantasised about it. There are seven balloons in the fleet, out of which two can hold 20 people, and five balloons are intended for a family flight. Let this summer be especially memorable for you, experience incredible magic-less than 45 minutes from Novi Sad!

6 – 30 June
Neo festival

“Neoclassical festival of classical music” is held in several locations in the city: Kulturna stanica Svilara, Kulturna stanica Eđšeg, Catholic Gate, and Town Hall. This event is a course for orchestral musicians and talented youths from entire Europe, but also a special form of education for the audience that will enjoy the interpretation of classical music.

15 – 17 June
Interfest – International wine festival

A manifestation that promotes wine culture to the visitors presents over 100 exhibitors and over 500 labels from the territory of Serbia, Vojvodina and especially Novi Sad and the immediate surroundings. This year’s festival will be the anniversary, 20th, therefore the organisers announced special surprises in Liberty Square, that you can see from your hotel room.

21 June – 3 July
Novi Sad music summer

A manifestation that is held in the OTP bank and Synagogue’s courtyard is made up of a series of concerts of somewhat more popular music, that is not tightly tied to the classical. Novi Sad music summer is a chance to have fun, dance and enjoy the hot summer nights in the open air.

22 June – 24 August
Summer in the Gallery Square

The cultural-artistic core of Novi Sad – the Gallery Square, will this year also, thanks to the Gallery of Matica Srpska, the Memorial collection of Pavle Beljanski and a gift collection of Rajko Mamuzić, allow the visitors to enjoy the free cultural-artistic programme in the open air. The Gallery Square is located next to the Pupin Hotel, so you will have the opportunity to enjoy the complete programme.

6 – 9 July
EXIT

The event that needs no special presentation is the reason why Novi Sad every July becomes a true junction of different cultures and languages. This year’s EXIT festival will, as always before, gather the most renowned music names in Petrovaradin Fortress.

24 – 26 August
Street musicians festival – Gradić fest

The end of summer will be marked by the event that gathers artists from the entire world. In the city streets appear, musicians, dancers, performers, theatre troops, acrobats… who participate in the art shop, with the interaction with the audience. The festival is held in the part of the city under the Petrovaradin Fortress, which is also situated near the Pupin Hotel.
